VAFB - Brian Webb (KD6NRP) has provided some great information on viewing the launch from near Vandenberg.  Look here for info.  From what I hear, there is a beach between the north and south base that is good for vieiwing.  It's low though and fog could present a problem.  See Brian's info above.

Western US - Rumor has it that you can see VAFB launches from as far away as Arizona and Nevada!  So if you're interested but none of the operations work out, just look outside your window.  It'll be a late launch so it'll be close to dark.  If you see a big bright streak, that's us!
