This past weekend on March 8, Stanford students in partnership with Statrofox and NASA Ames launched two high altitude balloon missions from the California's central valley.  They launched from Galt, CA, landed near Merced.  Payloads included advanced imaging systems (by Elphel), student PearlSats from Louisiana, a solar sail prototype, and tracking systems.
